The year was 1987. Something special was about to happen. No longer would you have to wait for your favorite show to air on TV, now you could have your very own copy on VHS or Betamax. Complete with a gatefold cover, curated episodes and the ability to rewind to another dimension, over and over again.
In 1988, this catalog really came to life - with even more tapes added as well as a subscription service. New tapes sent out monthly, right to you door. Imagine that, if you will. A time when a brand new VHS (or Beta) tape - packed full of timeless episodes would arrive to you, to be viewed, loved and then added to your growing collection.
The tapes are now in the hands and vcr's of thousands of collectors and fans around the world. Some even awaiting you, covered in an armor made out of dust of the decades at the flea market or swap meet. We wanted to pay tribute to the greatest show of all time on our favorite format (VHS that is, sorry Betamax) of all time here at Discount Cemetery.
